As a founding member of the Vietnam Veterans Arts Group I created this sculpture for our opening exhibition, "Reflexes and Reflections", at the N.A.M.E. gallery in Chicago in 1981. It is carved and painted cherry wood,  14.5" long x 5" high x 2.5" deep. It was my interpretation of the iconic green, yellow and red Vietnam Service Ribbon and is on permanent exhibit at the greatly expanded most recent evolution of the museum, now known as the National Veterans Art Museum. Believing art should stand on its own merit, I won't explain what the red, yellow and green represents. 9-15/16" W by 2-15/16" H. It makes a statement and turns heads.
